Location
Located just half a kilometre from the bus stand and Yatra Registration Office, Hotel Asia Vaishnodevi lies in the heart of Katra. Banganga, the starting point of the trek to the Vaishnodevi Temple, is just 1.5 km away while the helipad is 2.5 km. The hotel is 50 km away from the Jammu Airport and 48 km from Jammu Railway Station.

Rooms
The hotel offers comfortable accommodation in 36 well furnished rooms that are divided into 2 Royal rooms, 8 Garden View Double rooms, 8 Garden View Family rooms, 9 Shrine View Double rooms and 7 Shrine View Family rooms. Each room is equipped with all modern amenities including cable television, intercom service, sofa chairs, refrigerator, luggage rack and cupboard. Although the telephone in the room does not have direct dial facility, STD calls can be connected through the reception.
While the Family room features two double beds, each Royal room has a 2-seater dining table and a tea/coffee maker in addition to all other amenities. The attached washrooms are appointed with soap, shampoo, linen, talcum powder, moisturiser and shower cap. Hot and cold water is supplied round the clock. Additional washroom amenities in Royal room include dental kit and shaving kit.
Dining
Bhog, the vegetarian multi cuisine restaurant at Hotel Asia Vaishnodevi serves scrumptious Indian and Chinese fare. It remains open from 7 am to 11 pm. While meal timings are fixed for breakfast (7 am - 11 am), lunch (12 noon - 3 pm) and dinner (7 pm - 11 pm), snacks and beverages are available from 3 pm to 7 pm in the restaurant and from 11 pm onwards through room service only.
Note
The use of onion and garlic is prohibited within the town of Katra. Hence, the hotel serves pure vegetarian fare, prepared without onion or garlic.
