Bagdogra

Bagdogra is a small town that is located in the state of West Bengal in theDarjeeling district. The town is part of the tea growing region and many plantations can be seen in the area. The place also has an outstanding view of the eastern Himalayan Mountains. Many heritage tours are arranged among the tea plantations and these are a worthwhile experience. The Teesta River flows nearby and this is the base for activities such as white water rafting. Many adventure buffs travel to the region to experience rafting in the rapids.
